Johns now works for a Toyota dealership in his hometown of Brookhaven but spends his spare time back on the football field as a member of a local semi-pro team called the Tri-County Heroes.
“He’s a great athlete,” said Heroes head coach Phil Campbell. “He will have a shot at the NFL. I know several coaches in the NFL. All they need to do is send some film to them and they’ll take a look at him.”
I would like very much for Jimmy Johns to reach the NFL, but I very much don’t think he will. Good luck, Jimmy.
