According to ESPN:
Michigan running back Fitzgerald Toussaint has been suspended indefinitely from the team after being arrested Saturday evening on a DUI charge.
Toussaint, a redshirt junior, ran for 1,041 yards and nine touchdowns on 187 carries as Michigan’s starting running back in 2011. The total was second on the team behind quarterback Denard Robinson.
All eyes will now be on how long the suspension lasts. Given the Wolverines’ first opponent is the defending national champions, I wouldn’t be surprised is no announcement is made. I also wouldn’t be surprised if the suspension only lasted for the first series.
