We bring a 38-7 record to Week 5. On to the picks…
Alabama 35, Mississippi 14 – I don’t think this game will be as close as this score indicates. Playing Ole Miss at 8:15 p.m. before an open week isn’t enough to get Alabama beat, but it’ll make the game closer than it should be.
Texas A&M 45, Arkansas 31 – The Razorbacks have endured their free fall while playing at home. They take the road to College Station this week for another barbequeing. Sorry, I could’t resist.
LSU 63, Towson 10 – How do you feel better after almost getting beat by Auburn? Schedule Towson.
South Carolina 42, Kentucky 7 – Will the Wildcats fare any better against the Gamecock defense after being shutout by Florida? At least they’ll score in this one, though Carolina will continue to roll.
Missouri 24, Central Florida 20 – Want to see a football season come unglued? See what happens if the Tigers lose to UCF. Missouri has a better team, but 2012 has been a roller coaster rid so far.
Georgia 45, Tennessee 27 – The Bulldogs are beginning to pick up steam towards a great season and the Vols won’t stand in their way – well, maybe for one half.
